Adam Levine Loves Food & That Makes Us Love ‘The Voice’ Coach Even More

I make no secret that I love Adam Levine as much as one could possibly love the coaches on The Voice. I mean, I’ve always thought he was a hottie, but then I met him during the Season 9 press junket and I just died — he was the coolest! A few weeks later, The Voice blind auditions revealed that Adam Levine loves food and that makes me love him even more — no matter what his hair (or lack there of) looks like.

I wholeheartedly approve of this development. Even Season 9 contestant Jordan Smith confirmed that Levine has quite an appetite. “I look at food and gain 10 pounds. He’s a twig!” Smith told Hollywood Life. “He has people shoving food into him. It’s ridiculous; usually up to the last second he’s chewing. He’s always saying he’s hungry and wants food.” giphy (42) And the Maroon 5 frontman cooks (nevermind the little mishap).  “I’m pretty useless in the kitchen, to be totally honest,” Levine told Parade in 2011. “My instincts are not good. But I make really good eggs—the most artistically perfect eggs on earth—a pretty good poached salmon, and really good steak. I don’t want to spread myself too thin! These are my signature items.”

He even shared a steak recipe with Parade. “To me, the fattier the cut, the better the steak,” Levine said. “That’s probably why I love rib eyes—because they are the fattiest steaks you could possibly eat.”

And like any good foodie, Levine posts food photos to his Instagram account — even though he says he hates food photos.

I know I know. “Annoying food post.” But this may have been worth it. WOW.
