Best Food Brands On Social Media

I joined Facebook in March 2004, roughly 10 years ago. Crazy, right? And now things are changing. Luckily, the internet likes to use donuts to explain social media. God bless the internet.

I’m always impressed with brands who totally own their social media game. They have a style, a clear tone, and interact with customers. They’re sassy. They post photos of food. Here are three that I currently adore.

This one got famous for hilariously livetweeting NBC’s The Sound of Music Live! and being more entertaining than the musical itself. While that got me to follow this Twitter (and buy a DiGiorno pizza the next day), I keep following it for gems like these.

Oh man, Eat 24 is amazing. The app is great and, after you order food, they have a funny set of tweets to choose from to announce your order, if you wish. Their Twitter is also so sassy.

I even had my own exchange with them:

  I think that means we’re going steady. #SmittenKitten #TwitterLove

Oh, Waffle House. I have so many 2 a.m. Southern memories from there. Anyway, their Twitter really likes bacon.
