Gluten-free foods have gone from dreaded to delicious in the past decade. For health reasons, my family has been gluten-averse for a long time and I’m delighted that gluten-free foods are upping the ante when it comes to deliciousness. I got the chance to try Fatty Sunday’s Gluten-Free Chocolate-Covered Pretzels, which packed with flavor — and covered in sprinkles! Yay!
I picked the Dark Chocolate Sprinkle flavor and I cannot stop munching on them. And trust me, you too will gobble up this sweet and salty treat as if it’s a standard pretzel, because it tastes just like one. Gone are the days of gluten-free breads and pizza crusts that taste like paper. Welcome to the Gluten-Free Revolution. Based in Brooklyn, Fatty Sundays was founded by sisters Ali and Lauren in 2010 and the company now boasts more than 15 yummy flavors to indulge in. Fatty Sundays also has pretzels (with gluten), DIY kits to dip your own, and even licorice.
