Not only will October bring a nice (and welcome) fall chill to the air, but it’s come to my attention that it’s going to be one yummylicious month in Los Angeles. I’m already having trouble deciding where to go and when — if only I could go to them all! Check out the run down of all the cool L.A. food events happening around town.
L.A. Donut Festival
Oct. 3 at the Mad Ave Graffiti House
YES THIS IS REAL! Get so excited! There will be donut sampling and donut burgers for VIP ticket holders.
Artisanal LA Fall Show
Oct. 10-11 at The Reef in Downtown
Within about 10 minutes, I dropped about $40 at the Artisanal LA Spring Show (which includes that heavenly s’mores above), so here’s a tip: PACE YOURSELF. Artisanal LA shows are big, beautiful, amazing, and overwhelming all at the same time. Take your time, walk around, get samples, and take it all in. Then spend all your money. It’s the best. 😉

Oct. 17-18 at the O.C, Fair & Events Center in Costa Mesa
Who doesn’t love caaaaaaaaaake? This event in the O.C. will showcase lots of cakes and party fun — plus lots of yummy samples, too.

Oct. 3-4 at LA Center Studios in Downtown Los Angeles
Hey, vegans have a lot of fun, too — especially in Los Angeles. Load up on plant-based treats and brew for the event’s second year. Just make sure to get your tickets early — it sold out last year!
Off The Hook Santa Monica Seafood Festival
Oct. 17 at the Santa Monica Pier
Get your fill of SaMo’s finest seafood, plus wine and champagne at this Westside fesitval that’ll have you craving crustaceans and more. You must be 21 and over in order to buy tickets.
Eastside Food Festival
Oct. 18 at Mack Sennett Studios
Your ticket gives you access to all-you-can-eat fare from Eastside restaurants like Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Home State, Starry Kitchen (my personal favorite), Sticky Rice, Belcampo Meat Co., and so many more.
Burbank Beer Festival
Oct. 17 in Downtown Burbank
Just wanna get your drink on? Well, you’re in luck. Burbank is throwing its very first beer fest and you’re invited. More than 85 craft beers will be on tap during two sessions. Bringing a designated driver is definitely recommended.
I might be forgetting some. What events are you looking forward to in October?
