Hi! My name is Mallory. I’m a professional journalist in Los Angeles by trade and food blogger on the side. I currently write podcasts at Spotify and I was an associate entertainment editor at Bustle, the largest website for millennial women, for five years. I love food, so naturally, I love to blend the two in my writing — hence I founded Couch Potato Cook in 2013.

I’m no expert on cuisine — just think of me as that friend who’s always talking about where to eat and what to watch.

I’ve been writing professionally for over a decade, writing and editing for major media outlets (BuzzFeed, Huffington Post, Bustle, New York Daily News etc.) and covering sports, entertainment, real estate, food, and internet culture. I was a contributor to The Daily Meal. I used to write the weekly food truck feature on LosAngeles.com. I’ve also produced and edited more than 200 videos on the Couch Potato Cook YouTube channel.

Blogging about food, though, has been a blast! Come along on the journey and let’s eat.
